What is "Preferred Contact Information"?
Your preferred contact information includes your name, job title, organization, the preferred address you generally want SAE to use for shipping and billing, and your preferred credit card information (type, number, and expiration date).
What's the difference between maintaining my personal information and maintaining my address(es)?
Your personal information can include your name, job title, employer and credit card information. Your address information can include your mailing address, telephone number, fax number, and email address
How do I change the record containing my name, title, employer, and credit card information?
Under the Account Maintenance bar on the left side of the MySAE page, click the "Maintain Personal Information" link. Click the "Edit" button, then make your changes on the resulting form and click the "Proceed" button. To delete your existing credit card information, click on the link "Delete Credit Card Information" that is on the bottom of the "Maintain my personal information" screen.
What is my "preferred address"?
This is the address that you would like us to use for shipping and billing purposes.
How do I make changes to my preferred address?
Under the Account Maintenance bar on the left side of the MySAE page, click the "Maintain Addresses" link. Your preferred address is the address in the top left corner. To edit this address, click the "Edit" button, type in your changes on the form, and click the "Proceed" button at the bottom. You will see your revised address on the "Maintain My Addresses" screen.
How do I select a different preferred address than is on MySAE?
Under the Account Maintenance bar on the left side of the MySAE page, click the "Maintain Addresses" link. Select the address you want to be your preferred address, and click the "Edit" button above that address. On the next page, scroll to the bottom, click on the checkbox "Check here to make this your preferred address," then click the "Proceed" button.
How do I know what other addresses SAE has for me on record, and how do I modify them?
Under the Account Maintenance bar on the left side of the MySAE page, click the "Maintain Addresses" link. You will then see all the addresses we have on record for you.
How do I add another address to my record?
Under the Account Maintenance bar on the left side of the MySAE page, click the "Maintain Addresses" link. Click on the button "Enter New Address" at the bottom of your list of addresses. On the next screen, enter your address information and click on the "Proceed" button at the bottom of the page.
How do I delete an address in my record?
Under the Account Maintenance bar on the left side of the MySAE page, click the "Maintain Addresses" link. From the addresses listed, find the one you want to delete and click the "delete" button above that address. If you want to delete your preferred address, you must first assign a different address to be your preferred address, then delete the address that was your preferred address.
